Nosework 1 – Containers and Interiors

March 19 and 26, Time: 6 – 7:15 p.m.  Fee $7.50 per handler/dog

Requirements and parameters: Must be proficient in birch. One hide per element/search, on leash, no intentional distractors, and search time limits of 3 – 5 minutes. Two indoor searches will be offered each night. One night will focus on boxes in any arrangement and the other night interior searches of different-sized rooms. Interior searches will be no higher than 4 feet, and odor source will be accessible to the dog. A limit of four students.

To register, contact Kathleen Stevens . Preference will be given to CCTC members and single-dog handlers per course to ensure greater opportunity among members. This is not an introductory class for untrained dogs. Payment will be collected the first night of class.
